Mecha BREAK reaches 133,000 concurrent players on Steam

The free-to-play robot shooter Mecha Break, developed by Amazing Seasun Games, has had a strong start on Steam, reaching a peak of 132,800 concurrent players on its first day of official launch. This number reflects players’ enthusiasm for the fast-paced combat and team-based competitions the game offers.

Despite criticism of the in-game microtransactions system, the overwhelming response demonstrates the public’s thirst for multiplayer mecha games, especially after a long absence since Armored Core VI. The game is currently available on PC and Xbox Series X|S, with a PS5 version coming later.

Mecha BREAK currently features 12 playable mechs, with additional characters to be unlocked later. The game offers three main modes: a 6v6 showdown known as Operation Verge, a 3v3 duel mode called Ace Arena, and a unique PvEvP experience on the Mashmak map.
