Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) is a driver removal tool that can help completely remove AMD (ATI), NVIDIA and Intel graphics drivers from your system without leaving any leftovers (such as registry keys, folders, files, driver store). Over time, these leftover files can cause compatibility issues, performance degradation or system crashes. Using DDU, you can remove the remains of old drivers and solve many common graphics driver-related problems.
The program offers three operating modes:
- Remove and reboot. Removes the selected GPU drivers and reboots. This option is recommended in most cases if you only have a single manufacturer’s graphics card installed. After rebooting, you can begin installing new drivers.
- Uninstall without rebooting. This uninstall option is intended if you have several different graphics processors installed. Uninstall each driver in turn and then reboot.
- Remove and Shut Down. Removes the selected drivers and shuts down the computer. This is useful if you plan to change your video card.
Changes in this version:
– Intel: Added detection of NPU presence before deleting shared DLL files (previously they were left in to prevent potential NPU-related issues).
– Intel: Added optional NPU uninstall
– Improved the “Extension” driver uninstall process.
