Singaporean investment firm 3D Investment Partners began a series of acquisitions of Square Enix shares last April, starting with a 5.47% stake, then increasing to 8.98%. Now, in June, the company has acquired a 10.01% stake, making it one of the largest investors in the Japanese gaming and entertainment company.
The company is looking to acquire more shares in Square Enix, which will in turn come under pressure from investors to increase its stake.
