The upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds update adds the classic monsters Lagiacrus and Seregios.

Monster Hunter Wilds is performing well on Steam and has a record number of concurrent players.

Capcom has announced details for the second free update for Monster Hunter Wilds, which launches on June 30 and adds two long-awaited classic monsters: Lagiacrus and Seregios. The return of Lagiacrus also introduces the game’s underwater combat mechanic for the first time, with players facing it in both land and underwater battles, challenging tasks that require high coordination between movement and attack.

Seregios is a fast-moving bird wyvern that uses its sharp scales to cause bleeding, requiring hunters to be careful and plan carefully. The update will also add Layered Weapons to customize the appearance of weapons without affecting their properties, improvements to Shooting Mode, and support for new Hunter Assistants.
