After a long wait, the highly anticipated Reality V mod for GTA 5 is now available for download on PC. This mod is the best yet in terms of added realism to the game and its world, and we’ll share more details below.
Modder BadassBaboon has released version 3.1 of his amazing graphics-enhancing mod for the GTA 5 Remastered on PC. The RealityV mod, which is compatible with the latest update to the GTA V Remastered, adds two new ray tracing options.
For those who don’t know, the remastered GTA V introduced ray tracing effects to the PC version. More specifically, it now supports RTGI, RTAO, and RT shadows and reflections. Rockstar then added two new ray tracing options: one for higher-quality reflections, and the other for a second light bounce.
The RealityV Enhanced Edition V3.1 mod adds a distinctive skyscape with clear 8K night stars. The lab said it worked on the stars from a different version dedicated solely to the RealityV mod. The mod also improves the game’s TAA feature, which should now cause significantly fewer shadows than before. It also fixes an issue where the sun becomes too bright and large in some weather conditions.
That’s not all. This modification also improves the appearance of lighting and colors in the game, which naturally has a positive impact on ray tracing effects and makes the game more realistic overall. PC players will also notice better weather variations. It won’t rain as much as it did in the original game. They’ll also notice more beautiful sky colors at sunset, especially when the weather is clear or very sunny.
