Limited Run Games has announced that the Gex Trilogy collection will return to the Switch 2 eShop after the company requested that Nintendo remove the game as it was unplayable on the console due to technical issues with the development engine used to re-release classic experiences.
Players will be able to repurchase the game, and those who owned it but were unable to play can download the new update to be able to play. No date has been set for the game’s return to the store, but it could happen within the next few hours or days.
