Sony revealed in its new report that most PlayStation players are now on PS5, after the largest number in recent years played on PS4 (previous generation).
This represents a significant step forward and sales breakthrough for the current generation, as Sony sought to accelerate the transition process for players and encourage them to upgrade, and it appears to have succeeded in that, and the success is expected to increase due to upcoming console exclusives such as Death Stranding 2, Ghost of Yotei, Wolverine, and others.
