Final Fantasy XVI recently arrived on the Xbox Series X, making the Nintendo Switch 2 the only home console the game can’t be played on. But that could change, as series producer Naoki Yoshida and creative director Kazutoyo Maehiro have spoken about the Switch.
During a broadcast hosted by the duo, the developers joked about the Switch being the only platform the game hasn’t been released on, and Maehiro commented that he would do his best to rectify the matter. It may have been just a passing joke between the developers, but some might really want to try it on the hybrid device.
