Arrowhead Game Studios has confirmed that Helldivers 2 will not be available on Xbox Game Pass, neither at launch nor in the future. This definitive statement came from the game’s community manager on Discord, responding to circulating rumors, where he clearly stated: “Absolutely not. There are no plans to release it on Game Pass.”
Although the game will arrive on Xbox Series X/S on August 26, 2025, it will be released on PlayStation, making its inclusion in Microsoft’s service unlikely. The game will support cross-platform play, but it will not support cross-progression, meaning players will start from scratch when switching between devices.
