Publisher Limited Run Games said it has asked Nintendo to remove the Gex Trilogy compilation from the Switch 2 eShop because it doesn’t work on the console, a problem that has also plagued a number of the publisher’s other titles.
12 games are now playable on the Switch 2 thanks to a new update, but the Gex Trilogy is still unplayable. 155 games on the Switch 2 have encountered this issue. The Limited Run Games issues are related to the Carbon Engine, which is used to re-release classic experiences on modern platforms. The company has already submitted a request for an update that would fix the Gex Trilogy issue, but it is not known when the update will be released.
