Everwild, the action-adventure title from Rare Studios for Xbox Series X|S and PC, is one of the projects that went through a difficult development phase. During that time, several key team members left due to shifts in the game’s creative direction.
Originally announced years ago, the game has since remained absent from the spotlight, prompting speculation that the project might have been canceled. However, journalist Jez Corden recently reported that development is now progressing smoothly. He also mentioned that a recent internal showcase of Everwild impressed Microsoft executives and helped restore confidence in the project.
We may finally see Everwild reappear at the upcoming Xbox Showcase event.
