Supermassive Games, developer of horror games Until Dawn and The Dark Pictures, has seen some significant leadership changes. Game Rant noted on its official LinkedIn page last week that Pete and Joe Samuels – who co-founded the studio in 2008 – have left the studio. .
The developer wrote:
“After 15 amazing years, we say goodbye to our founders Pete and Joe… Thank you @lh for creating the Supermassive Games story that we will continue to write. Your tremendous legacy will live on. We wish you both the best of luck in the next chapter of your journey.”
Outgoing CEO Pete Samuels, who says he is leaving “for health reasons,” will be replaced by Robert Henryson, former chairman and CEO of Avalanche Studios.
