EA posted a new job application for a visual effects employee, and while describing the job application, EA wrote:
We’re looking for a 3D veteran, like you, to help us create the most realistic and exciting destruction effects.
This recruitment may be part of strengthening the ranks of Battlefield developers, from which we have not seen any new parts since 2021. Recently, The Finals game was released, which impressed players with its destruction aspect, and it was worked on by developers who worked at Dice, the studio responsible for Battlefield. So, EA is likely looking to recruit experts to improve this aspect of its games and return to competing with other games. Battlefield 2042 did not provide the destruction aspect as required
