Developer Techland has announced that the Retouched update for the original Dying Light will be released on June 26th. The update will update and improve numerous technical details, including textures, lighting, and the level of detail in the surrounding environment, while also introducing a new option for 8K shadow quality.
The update will also add audio improvements and remasters to the game’s soundtrack, along with a new set of them. The update will be released free of charge to game owners on current and previous generation home consoles, as well as PC.
