A few days ago, a voice actor for a popular character in Red Dead Redemption 2 hinted at the imminent announcement of a PS5 version of the game, but recently these hints were dropped by the same actor in a new video.
The voice actor for John Marston in Red Dead Redemption 2 appeared to hint at a PS5 version of the game, but immediately afterward, he appeared in a new video apologizing for the misunderstood hint. He appeared nervous and said that announcing any news related to Rockstar games is their business alone, and that he did not intend to imply anything when he said there was important news coming soon.
On Reddit, it was revealed that the exciting announcement the character’s voice actor was hinting at was actually a surprise for gamers, as all the voice actors from the series were gathered and gamers were given the opportunity to meet them and ask them questions.

The meeting will take place between August 8 and 10 during the National Gaming Expo, where most of the series’ voice actors will be present. This means that the rumors of a PS5 version of Red Dead 2 are unfortunately false.
However, there remains one hint from PlayStation itself, as spotted by the Latin PlayStation account. A teaser trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 was released , but it was for the online mode, with very high resolution and no voiceover, just a regular screenshot. Fans speculated that the trailer somehow hinted at an upcoming announcement for the enhanced version of the game.
