2k10 Next 2025.01.06 / 2k10 Live 7.40

A multi-boot system administrator disk with the ability to boot from CD/DVD, flash drive, USB-HDD and regular HDD and consisting of several PE assemblies, which allows you to boot and work comfortably on almost any computer.

Key features:

  • UEFI, x64 and x32 support
  • cleaning the OS from viruses/trojans/blockers
  • recovery of data, operating system and its boot
  • creating/deploying system images
  • installation of Windows (distributions are not included in the assembly), including using the 78setup and WinSetup2k10 programs from the authors of the assembly
  • unique development – a single software package for all PE assemblies and regular OS (more than 400 programs)
  • Multimedia and network support with internet access
  • modular structure of the assembly, which provides virtually unlimited possibilities for editing the assembly by the user according to their requirements – exclusion of WinPE, addition/removal in the software package
  • user settings and files are located in special user.* folders (which allows them to be automatically excluded when updating the assembly on the flash drive), are easily changed and further changes to the assembly do not affect them.

Menu composition and brief description of assemblies:

  • C9PE Multimedia 2k10 Plus Pack / Native Edition
Build on 2003 Server, on the MS-Explorer kernel with network and SCSI/SATA device support and optional support for other devices (video/sound/…). Support for new devices can be added using external drivers (DriverPacks folder). Boot time from a flash drive (USB2.0 mode or loaded PLOP) ~40 sec., from CD-Rom ~1 min. Minimum requirements – from 128 MB RAM (native mode) or from 192 MB (RAM mode), full-fledged operation on 512 MB. In both boot options, you can use external driver packs for storage controllers: SRS – minimal driver pack (only SATA) and DPMS – full driver pack (even includes USB3 drivers, which can be useful in the native boot mode). Connection of driverpacks is organized by scripts, when using them a virtual floppy disk with a suitable driver will be created (if such is found in the package), and a script for automatic installation of the driver will be created on the floppy disk during the assembly loading (file txtsetup.oem). You can use SRS and DPMS not only when loading the C9PE assembly, but also when loading other assemblies based on XP/2003… and even for integrating the driver into the corresponding OS (if after executing the scripts for using SRS/DPMS you execute “Start NTLDR from HDD” from the Grub4Dos menu.
  • WinLive 7×86 Special Edition 2k10 / Native Edition

Unlocked support for RAE (which allows using up to 128 GB of RAM). A new, easily updated version of loading SCSI/SATA/Raid/USB3 driver packs is used. Minimum requirements – from 512 MB (almost all programs, except Kaspersky, work with a swap file in this version).
  • WinLive 7×64 Special Edition 2k10
Special edition of WinPE 7×64 Live (@Xemom1), on the MS-Explorer kernel with a classic interface and support for network and SCSI/SATA/Raid/USB3 devices (new easily updated version of loading driver packs SCSI/SATA/Raid/USB 3.0). Network support for popular Realtek network cards – immediately after starting the PE system, for the rest – after installing the drivers from the package in the DriverPacks folder. There is multimedia support. Minimum requirements – from 768 MB. This assembly supports booting in UEFI mode.
  • WinLive 8×86 Special Edition 2k10 / Native Edition

UEFI support in the assembly:

  • In the assembly, starting with the 4th version, the ability to boot from under UEFI is implemented. Let me remind you that UEFI is a PC boot interface that replaced Bios. Among the features of UEFI: full support for GPT partitions and HDDs larger than 2 TB, a graphical interface with mouse support, and much more. “Pure” UEFI supports only booting of x64 Windows OS (there are also implementations for x86 OS, but the boot rate is low). Fortunately, most manufacturers use a combo version of UEFI (in the first approximation, this is UEFI + Bios). A distinctive feature of the combo is the ability to boot both in EFI mode and Bios emulation (usually this mode is called legacy mode). Depending on the specific implementation, the modes can be selected for a specific drive both in QuickBoot (EFI / legacy), and exclusively in the UEFI boot menu, and even in the HDD priority selection menu.
  • EFI boot is possible under the following conditions: for flash drives/HDD the file system FAT/FAT32 must be used (NTFS is not supported!), there is an EFI folder in the root of the drive. For the DVD version – a special CDFS structure (the same as in the assembly. Standard Joliet does not work) or UDF.

Note: Tablets usually use a 32-bit version of UEFI, so the 8×86-based build is intended for them. x64 versions of PE/OS under UEFI x32 (x86) do not work (error 0xc000035a).

System requirements:

  • Computer with 128Mb RAM or higher, CD/DVD drive or USB interface.
