Nintendo has yet to release official sales figures for the Nintendo Switch 2 during its launch week. Reports from various sources, including journalist Daniel Ahmad, indicate that the Nintendo Switch sold over 200,000 units in France upon its release, the highest launch week sales figure for a console in history there, surpassing the previous record of 107,000 sold by the PlayStation 5 during the same period.
Mario Kart World reached 95% of consumers who purchased the console, and with a massive launch, the console generated €130 million in sales revenue upon release.
