Nintendo today announced a slight delay to the movie adaptation of The Legend of Zelda game series, which is now scheduled for release on May 7, 2027, after originally being scheduled for March of the same year.
The famous name behind the series, Shigeru Miyamoto, said that the project needed these extra weeks for production reasons and to deliver the best possible film. Nintendo enjoyed tremendous success with The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and we will see if The Legend of Zelda movie can achieve the same success.
