Developer Remedy Entertainment is preparing to launch FBC: Firebreak in a few days, with increased focus on promotion and a heightened publicity campaign for the multiplayer title set in the Control universe. According to Thomas Puha, the studio’s communications director, the game will run on PS5 at 1440p using FSR2, maintaining 60 frames per second, while PS5 Pro users will enjoy 2160p thanks to PSSR.
In addition to improved performance, the game supports 3D audio and haptic feedback, enhancing the interactive experience. Poha also noted that the team made sure to use adaptive haptic feedback to give each weapon a distinct feel, similar to what Control and Alan Wake 2 offered.
