Internal discussions at Microsoft about whether or not to add the next Call of Duty game to Game Pass, according to a media report

Microsoft ended its acquisition of Activision Blizzard last year, and with it it is now the owner of the famous Call of Duty title. Microsoft had signed contracts to guarantee the release of the game for the next ten years on multiple platforms.

However, there is currently an internal discussion in the company about adding the game in the next part to the GamePass service. The game, which has become a first-party game now, should be released on the service as is usual for first-party games, but another team in the company believes that this will greatly reduce the expected revenues from the game. When it is released, there are other voices calling for it to be sold at a nominal price to Game Pass subscribers, and the internal debate is still ongoing regarding this decision.
