Tekken 8 game director Katsuhiro Harada announced at the Tekken World Tour 2023 event that he is removing the targeted access option for players with color blindness, which experts have explained is harmful to other players and may cause severe migraines.

James Berg from the Xbox Accessibility team tweeted that the filter “gives people migraines,” while accessibility specialist Ian Hamilton said it could potentially “put players in hospital (or worse).”
