A very slow start to the year with more than 46 thousand units sold of the Nintendo Switch device this week and the weakest sales of the device in the second week of the year. For comparison, the device was selling more than 74 thousand units in the same period last year. There is no doubt that the Switch will live a difficult year in light of its farewell. It will soon be on the market for its seventh year and is entering its eighth year since release.
The PlayStation 5 also achieved a slow start in the new year by selling more than 36 thousand units. For comparison, the device sold more than 44 thousand in the same period last year. The device carries a number of strong releases during the coming period that will help it achieve better results.

Super Mario Bros. continues. Wonder is at the top of game sales and is heading to exceed the barrier of 2 million copies sold in the store version, and in total it will exceed the barrier of 3 million copies in total digital sales and store copy sales. Momotaro Dentetsu World game is soon preparing to exceed the barrier of one million copies sold in stores.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 benefits from the game bundle with the PlayStation 5 and has returned to the list since the end of last year and continues to achieve sales. The rest of the list includes the usual Nintendo games for the Switch.
